International students from all over the world
Scholarship value/inclusions:

Scholars will receive an award of £4,000, £6,000 or £10,000 per year of study. Those in receipt of one of UEA’s country scholarships are welcome to apply for this general scholarship in order to be considered for the £10,000 amount. If successful, this amount will replace your country scholarship.
Eligibility:
Applicants should be individuals who can demonstrate a track record of community engagement and who can demonstrate how their degree will make a difference to the lives and community around them.
When applying for this scholarship, you must already be in possession of a conditional or unconditional offer for the first year of an undergraduate degree course starting at UEA in September 2020. Your offer should state that you are an international fee-paying student. To be classified as an international fee-paying student you would need to be a non-EU resident. See the official website (link found below) for more details of who will pay international tuition fees.
You will also need to be independently funding your studies, which means that you cannot apply if an organisation is sponsoring your study and paying your tuition fees. But those who will be receiving government loans can still apply for this scholarship. Studies in the following courses are ineligible: medicine, occupational therapy and physiotherapy.
Students who are currently studying a Foundation course in the UK are not eligible to apply for this scholarship, but can apply for UEA’s International Foundation Scholarships.
Application instructions:
Although the application deadline is 14 June 2020, candidates are asked to apply as early as possible, as applications will be considered on a rolling basis, which means that the sooner you apply, the sooner you will find out whether you have been successful. You have to furnish a statement in your application (in approximately 2000 characters) to explain how an undergraduate degree from the University of East Anglia would enable you to make a difference in the future. You have to describe (in approximately 2000 characters) how you will contribute to the UEA community during your time on campus.
It is important to visit the official website (link found below) for detailed information on how to apply for this scholarship.
