Manchester United fans have recognised David De Gea's excellent recent form by naming him Manchester United player of the month for March. The 23-year-old kept a clean sheet at West Brom and West Ham, while his superb double save was crucial to Reds' comeback win over Olympiacos in the Champions League. De Gea picked up 61% of the votes on the Manchester United sevenlanguage websites to finish comfortably ahead of Wayne Rooney(34%) and Phil Jones(5%) in the polls. Despite the team's up-and-down this season, De Gea has kept 19 clean sheets so far and, at the start of April, he told United Review he's been satisfied with his contribution. "I've been happy with my form and I've felt very confident," he said. "I've played a lot of games, learned a lot and gained consistency and stability. I'm pleased with how things are going."
